Patrick Levine (MA Sociology, 2016)

"After graduating from Florida Atlantic University with my MA in Sociology I found work as a counselor in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN). During that time, I was able to implement my sociological lens to best understand and empathize with the people I served. In my free time I continued to develop my sociological research, I made two small publications, won a student paper competition, and I was accepted into a PhD granting institution in Sociology. At present, I’m in my second semester of PhD candidacy. Looking back, I’ve many cherished memories from my time at FAU and I’m forever grateful for the pedagogy and support I received from professors there in the Department of Sociology."
